STRUCTURE

The machine structure has been largely dimensioned for improved shock-absorbing and vibration damping properties, even at high working speeds (60,000mm/min.).
It is supported on only three points that ensure its complete stability.
The ball nuts of the lead screws are refrigerated by means of a thermal stabilising system.
Intended for maximum accuracy and efficiency, the spindle head completes this machine, making it a high-performance equipment.

LASEST - GENERATION SPINDLE

Designed to provide maximum accuracy and optimum efficiency in rotation, the spindle has been manufactured, using a process that includes thermal clamping of the bearings, which assures total removal of strains. Thru-spindle cooling fluid circulation at stable temperature minimises thermal distortion to a great extent.

CURVIC COUPLING

On the automatic pallet changer, the pallet hold-down system consists of a double large diameter 24-teeth ring gear cut with the Curvic Coupling system that guarantees a centering repeatability of ± 0.001mm.

COOLED BALL NUTS

The ball nuts of the lead screws feature a cooling system that prevents thermal distortion otherwise caused by high feedrates.
