The Alpha Series are the work horse of thinner material rolling.
They have all the features of the heavy duty Kappa line but cover the
range of thinner materials, the Kappa line is not able to.


The Kappa Series is designed to roll a wide range of materials.
They are tough and Comal Italia have rated all our equipment conservatively, especially the Kappa line.
The capacities you read on the specification page are TRUE RATINGS of the machines. They are clearly specified at 50,000 psi or 350 N/mm2 material YIELD STRENGTH and at which diameter the machine will perform at
the specified thickness on its FULL ROLLS' LENGTH.
Cone bending on these machines will require you to reduce the machine capacity by 40% on thickness and length.
