Tooling information and Recommended Die Clearances
  • Dies are marked with the ACTUAL size of the Die Hole
  • The ACTUAL size of the Die Hole results from the combination of the ACTUAL Punch size PLUS clearance
  • Clean Hole Punching and Long Tool Life Depend upon the Clearance between the Punch and the Die and regular lubrication of the Punch and Die

Recommended Clearances
Mat. Thickness (mm) Clearance
1 2 3 4 0.2
5 6 7 8 9 0.7
10 11 12 13 14 1.2
15 16 17 18 19 1.7
