UPT tooling features the construction of modular, light weight Precision Press Brake Tooling which is easy to change from one setup to another with out using extra staff or equipment thus reducing down time on the machine.
The tooling is made from C50 grade steel and is hardened and ground on the working surfaces.
Tool hardening is to HRC 55-60 thus giving a very strong working face.

The tooling comes in three standard lengths 415mm, 835mm and 805mm sectionalized and can have safety grooves added to suit all know makes of folding machines.
UPT can also manufacture special tooling and profiles to suit most applications for press brake machines.

The tool steel used to manufacture the tooling is a very high grade tool steel from Germany, Thyssen FOR 821 ESR which is a new generation cold work steel, Developed and patented worldwide to provide greater toughness when compared to AISI types A2, D2, D3 and D6 high wear resistant steels.

On completion all special tooling is put through a rigorous in-house tryout procedure until the desired result is achieved. The tryout samples are sent with the tooling as confirmation of tooling performance.
